It seems that the Royal Wedding is "old news", but I still cannot stop thinking about Kate Middleton's wedding gown. After all, I did get up at 4 am just to see it! I was pleasantly surprised, since her gown reminded me of my own wedding dress from 2002.

Here is a close-up photo of my wedding gown that features lace sleeves and lace bodice. This dress would be more of a summer version of Princess Catherine's wedding gown. The back is similar to Kate Middleton's wedding dress.

The entire affair also made me regret changing the location from a Cathedral in my home city of Poznan, Poland to the beaches of the British Virgin Islands. When I was purchasing my dress, it was intended for a wedding in the most amazing church in Poznan. Unfortunatelly, the hotel, reception and flight expenses to bring his entire family from the US over to Poland was more than we intended to spend. Last minute, we decided to elope - just the two of us.

When I saw Katherine walking down the isle, I could not stop wondering how great it would have been to have a princess fairytale wedding! I hope my girls will decide to have a huge church wedding!
